History

The grandeur of this prestigious assembly is in the image of this gargantuan work that is Lake Geneva. Bordering three Swiss cantons, Lake Geneva is the pride of a region and its land. The imperialism of this lake on its own land is symbolized by this wine. The greatness of this lake takes precedence over the greatness of its lands and mountains.

The Wine

Assemblage rouge. Cab. Sauvignon x Cab. Franc x Merlot x Syrah

Wine maturation

Aged in French oak barrels, made in Burgundy

Vintage

2019

Vinification & Œnologie

Cold maceration followed by a gentle vatting. Remontage and extraction of aromas and tannins with care and delicacy. Exclusive use of organic and neutral exogenous yeasts. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Non-interventional vinification and non-glued wine.

Vineyard & Terroir

Produced within the framework of the conversion to organic viticulture. Hand picked and selected grapes. Yields of 500gr/m2. These very low yields guarantee an optimal maturity of the berries and a better concentration of the aromas for a “haute couture” vinification. Plots facing south and south-east. Low vines in Guyot. Clay and limestone soil, grassed soil and slight slopes.

AOC

AOC Genève, 1er Cru
